Project Alpha
A small CLI that turns messy CSV exports into typed, validated Parquet. It infers a schema, shows you where it isn't confident, and lets you correct it before writing. Roughly 900 stars and a handful of contributors.
Projects
A mix of open source, side projects, and work I can talk about publicly. Most started because I wanted the tool to exist.

Self-hosted uptime monitoring in a single binary, comfortable in 40MB of RAM. Built because every alternative wanted a database cluster to tell me whether a website was up.
Replaced a batch ETL job with a streaming pipeline handling ~2B events/day. Cut end-to-end latency from 40 minutes to under 8 seconds and halved the compute bill in the process.
A browser-only map tool for plotting long-distance hiking routes with elevation profiles. No accounts, no server — everything lives in a URL you can bookmark and share.
Most of these have a write-up on the blog, and the rest I'm happy to walk through over a call.
